Humans often feel trapped by an unwritten "law" of self-reliance and destructive habits like violence. Jesus Christ broke this cycle by overcoming the power of death and providing the Spirit of life to dwell within believers. By shifting from a mindset of the flesh to a mindset of the Spirit, individuals are invited to move from spiritual captivity toward righteousness and peace. Ultimately, we are called to live as children of God because the Spirit of adoption enables us to trust in God rather than oneself, which leads to a restored life and a shared inheritance with Christ.
